Final Qualifying: Shot 66-69--135 at Bent Tree Country Club, in Dallas, Texas, on May 19
The San Antonio, Texas, resident survived a seven-man playoff for the final spot at the Dallas qualifier after posting 7-under 135. Keefer currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour, but has also competed on PGA Tour Americas. The 2024 Baylor University graduate claimed the 2025 Veritex Bank Championship for his first professional title. Keefer competed in this year's PGA Championship, but missed the cut, although he did propose to his girlfriend on the eve of the championship at Quail Hollow Club. He will make his U.S. Open debut at Oakmont. Keefer also was the runner-up in the 2025 Panama Championship and he tied for sixth in the Club Car Championship at The Landings, in Savannah, Ga.
