F-19: Winner of 2026 NCAA Division I Men's Individual Championship
The Oklahoma State junior earned his first U.S. Open start by capturing the individual title at the 2026 NCAA Division I Championship at La Costa Resort & Spa, in Carlsbad, Calif. The member of the victorious 2025 USA Walker Cup Team posted a 14-under total of 274 to edge William Jennings of Alabama by a stroke. Currently No. 3 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, the Texan posted four collegiate victories in the 2025-26 season. Besides his NCAA title, he also successfully defended his Big 12 Championship. He also won the 2025 Northeast Amateur and reached the final 16 of the U.S. Amateur at The Olympic Club after earning medalist honors in stroke play. He posted a 2-2 mark in the USA Walker Cup victory at Cypress Point last September, winning both of his singles matches, including a 2-and-1 decision over GB&I's Luke Poulter. He also represented his country in the 2025 Palmer Cup and World Amateur Team Championship in Malaysia. As a sophomore, he finished third individually at the NCAA Championship. In 2022, he advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Junior Amateur at Bandon Dunes.
