The former University of Oregon golfer advanced from local and final qualifying to earn his first U.S. Open start. He shot 67 at Rancho La Quinta's Jones Course and then posted 4-under 140 to earn medalist honors at Emerald Valley Golf Club, in Creswell, Ore. He has played four events on PGA Tour Americas this year, with his best finish a tie for third at the 71st ECP Brazil Open. The Rolling Hills Estates, Calif., resident competed in all 12 tournaments his senior year at Oregon in 2024-25. He ended his career with a 71.74 scoring average, ranking him fifth all time in program history. He qualified for the 2022 U.S. Amateur.
